Nicely done on your first try. My advice? Listen to a lot of what you want to produce, and experiment with a lot of different effects and instruments. It'll help a lot.

well, though I did compose the piano, it isnt done live, sequenced as a matter of fact. Though, of course, to sequence it I did record it using a controller, so i guess that counts. I'll get AIM installed and add you once i'm finished ;-)

Well...

My only complaint is that the introduction to the piece, where just the kick is playing and so on until you add the synth, was TOO LONG. And the overall song was too short. Hope to see an extended mix!

Alrighty, here's the deal...

First off, you've got a good sense of rhythm here. But... and it's a big but... don't use the pre-made loops.

I say this with a great deal of sympathy. Listen to my "Distant Dreams-OMEGA" and all you'll hear is that DrillNB loop underneath it all- so I know where you're comin from. But, unfortunately, it just cannot work.
