Awesome work.

I'm curious to know if you're classically trained.

I can definitely imagine playing this at the start of some early-morning road trip. In fact- Ima think I will ;)

Now for the actual comments. I read in your other comments that they heard FL presets in there. I use FL XXL 6, and I'm familiar with the presets... Either you did a good job in masking them, or they were wrong... the instrumentation is very good. Your arrangement seems to follow the standard "chorus-verse-choruswithsomethingnewinit" form, which is good. The tiny saw synth that played above the main arp was catchy. :) I could definitely say though that there was one point in the song where you seemed to be winding down, and it would have logically made sense for the song to end there. Instead, you give us one more shot of the chorus. While it sounds good, it's repetitive... and I found myself starting to lose interest as the song ended. Not too much, mind you.

Overall, if such were allowed, I'd give you a 8.75/10. Extremely good, and a good demonstration of your skills. And just so you know- I rarely give nines.

Nicely done on your first try. My advice? Listen to a lot of what you want to produce, and experiment with a lot of different effects and instruments. It'll help a lot.

Better than your others.

This is much better than your two newer ones, my friend. This is original work. I agree with the guy before me too. You have some original ideas here with percussion, and you should definitely explore them thoroughly. The thing is if you're going for a groove or beat, you really shouldn't change it up so much. Let the beat flow, and the rest of your piece should follow.

Keep it up! Originality rules!! =]

Honestly, I like it

I like it. I've always liked your rhythyms, both when you were Spada and now as EN3RGIE. I like the melody- soft and minor- yet there is a flow. One suggestion would be, however, when you drop the beat and pause everything- to slowly build up in a new melody... I also liked the grungy saw bass. Just my opinion. Looking forward to the finished version!!!

well, though I did compose the piano, it isnt done live, sequenced as a matter of fact. Though, of course, to sequence it I did record it using a controller, so i guess that counts. I'll get AIM installed and add you once i'm finished ;-)
